Should People Who Refuse To Assimulate Be Allowed To Immigrate To America? I Don't Think So!

The airwaves today are wall to wall Trump after he suggested America bar Muslims from coming to America until our government can get the immigration process right.   I take exception with Donald Trump's position that all Muslims should be barred from immigrating to America...that said, there is an argument to be made that everyone from EVERYWHERE should be kept from immigrating to America (legally or illegally) until we get our own house in order when it comes to people immigrating to America.  

1.  Lets deal with our borders.

2.  Lets deal with those who overstay their Visa.

3.  Let's come up with a system of checks and balances that facilitates legal immigration into our nation, while at the same time keeps undesirables out, including criminals, malcontents and possible terrorists.

4.  Figure out a system that makes sure those who come here do assimilate into our country, learn to read, write, speak and understand our language.

Let us as a nation take a time out, absorb those who are already here, and come to an agreement on who should or should not be allowed to come to America, and once we our in agreement, lets stick to the list, apply equal standards to EVERYONE, regardless of their race, creed, religion, sexual orientation or country of origin.

First thing that should be on that list of things for our government to address when deciding who can and who cannot immigrate to America should be their willingness to assimilate, which includes learning to speak, read and comprehend our English language.  If you have been in America for 10, 20 or more years and still cannot read, speak and comprehend English, then you have no business living in America.   The days of pushing 2 for Spanish needs to end.   If you are not willing to relinquish citizenship granted to you from some other nation, and swear allegiance to America, then you should not be here.   A perfect example of this can be found in sports where we have citizens of America playing professional sports, making millions of dollars here in America who go play sports for their home country's Olympic team...that is a divided allegiance that needs to end.

As a nation,let us not ban someone based on their religion, but let us also not allow people access to American citizenship who are not willing to fully embrace what it means to be American. 

Matthew 6:24 states, "No one can serve two masters.  For you will hate one and love the other, you will be devoted to one and despise the other."   People cannot be true citizens of America if they still pledge allegiance to another country, and that country's value systems and laws.  Still hold duel citizenship here and elsewhere.  It is in this context that Trump has opened up an ugly can of worms that no one really wants to discuss, finding it easier to label "The Trump" a heretic than discuss the issues that he so un-artfully brought to light in his call for banning all Muslims.

Let's as example look at Saudi Arabia which is a Muslim country, most of those who live there practicing Islam in one form or another.   No problem so far...BUT, it is also a country that both embraces and has codified Sharia Law, a set or rules and regulations based (supposedly) on the Quran, which is supposedly the word of Allah, much like Moses and the Ten Commandments.   Let's face it, Sharia Law has NO PLACE in America, no place in our culture.   Is it fair under our constitution to ask people to swear to uphold our laws and system of government, and denounce and/or abandon their beliefs in Sharia Law? If someone of Muslim faith wants to believe that their faith requires them to embrace and support Sharia Law, we as a nation do have a problem when it comes to them becoming citizens of our nation.   Perhaps the best example of this problem is the growing problem of "Honor Killings" here in America.

I do not agree with how Donald Trump has framed this important conversation that our nation, and our leaders need to have...who gets to come to America, and what rules and regulations do we need to have in place when it comes to saying yes or no to those wishing to immigrate here.  However I do agree that A) we should declare a full and complete moratorium on immigration until we address the problems with the immigration system, and B) we should not allow 10,000 refugees from war torn areas of the Middle East unless we have the ability to fully and completely vet each and every one of them before they ever set foot on America's shores.

News Pundits Are Wrong About Arming Ourselves

Just heard a pundit on CNN state that Americans arming themselves will not stop a terrorist...his reasoning was pretty simple, albeit wrong.   The basic premise he had was this...the second you pull your gun on a terrorist, you are going to be the first one to get shot.

1.  The terrorist has to see you pull out and aim your concealed firearm.

2.  The pundit is assuming that there is only one armed citizen in the room/location where the terrorist is taking pot  shots at UNARMED INNOCENT CITIZENS.  What happens if two, or five, or twenty citizens in different parts of the room/location are pulling out their concealed weapons and taking aim, then shooting at the terrorist.   Would guess at least one of them is going to drop said terrorist dead in his tracks.

Fact...if you and everyone else in the room/location are unarmed, you have NO CHANCE at stopping a shooter or terrorist bent on killing as many people as possible with a rapid fire long rifle capable of spewing out 30 or so shots in a matter of seconds.   If some of the people in the room or location have a loaded weapon on their body, there is a chance one of them can get off a shot that injures or even kills said shooter or terrorist.

Arming ourselves gives us (no pun intended) a shooting chance, to some degree levels the playing the field, and might just give a shooter/terrorist some pause before they implement their suicidal attack on innocent citizens here in America.

Time For a Real World War 3 Against Daesh And Their Radical Islamist Demonspawn

Lets stop being politically correct, and lets see our national leaders from all countries and political parties stop playing politics.   America, Britain, France, Russia, China, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Africa and every other country in the world...where are your parliaments,  Congresses and leaders in putting forth a official DECLARATION OF WAR against Daesh?  Why isn't every nation of the world committing troops and arms to a World War aimed at hunting down these vile demon spawn followers of a sick and twisted version of Allah like the dogs that they are?  The Allah these monsters follow is a pig, a scum, dog excrement that should be killed.  Moderate Muslims worship a different Allah, an Allah that would condemn the actions of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

Where is a $100 Million dollar bounty on the head of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, where is the deck of 52 cards each picturing one of the key figures in this movement with the amount of bounty on their head prominently displayed?  Why isn't there a coalition of nations willing to put boots on the ground in every nation where these terrorist cells are known to be?  The occasional bombings and drone strikes are not enough to eradicate these twisted monsters from the earth.   Why hasn't the United Nations called for an emergency meeting of the Security Counsel?  Where is NATO.

The leader of Syria... he has to go as well.   Don't try to convince us that our government, the Pentagon does not know the where about's of Assad...a drone strike, special forces, air strikes,what ever it takes to remove this man from office, and it is time for America, our allies and the United Nations to tell Putin to FALL IN LINE, or remove himself and his troops from the battlefield in Syria and let us do what we need to do.

Those who are known to have affiliated themselves with ISIS, or are known to have funneled money to this terrorist group...ROUND THEM UP, throw them in a detention center...THIS IS A TIME OF WAR.     

The time has come...Let's take back our world from these demented followers of a perverted form of Islam, lets show them the wraith of God, and if the Muslims of the world are not with us in this battle, then they are against us.  It is now an us verse them war, and like it or not,the supposed reasonable have to pick sides.             

Ben Carson Has a Point...Anyone Running For Public Office Should Renounce Sharia Law

Personally, am very tied of having to be politically correct, having to dance around hot button issues because some group or another is going to be offended.  Ben Carson would never get my vote, nor would Donald Trump...that said, they both are bringing out from underneath the rug some very ugly issues that need to be discussed from a perspective of what is best for America, and its legal citizens.  

The latest so called misstep for both Donald Trump and Ben Carson revolves around Muslims and Sharia Law.   Personally, have no problem here with a Muslim or someone of the "Islamic Faith" holding political office...as long as they are not a proponent of, or advocate for Sharia Law to be embraced and/or practiced here in America.   Someone advocating for Sharia Law should be a disqualifying factor which disqualifies  that person holding ANY PUBLIC OFFICE in the United States of America.   

Let's look at some of what Sharia Law would demand of us here in America.  In general, Sharia law is the most intrusive and strict set of laws in the world, wrongfully inserting itself into our private lives and liberties...especially when it comes to women.  Some of the specifics are startling frightening, and have no place in America Society or our courts.

•  Theft is punishable by amputation of the right hand.
•  Criticizing or denying any part of the Quran is punishable by death
•  Criticizing or denying Muhammad is a prophet is punishable by death.
•  Criticizing or denying Allah, the moon god of Islam is punishable by death.
•  A Muslim who becomes a non-Muslim is punishable by death.
•  A non-Muslim who leads a Muslim away from Islam is punishable by death.
•  A non-Muslim man who marries a Muslim woman is punishable by death.
•  A man can marry an infant girl and consummate the marriage when she is 9 years old.
•  Girls' clitoris should be cut (per Muhammad's words in Book 41, Kitab Al-Adab, Hadith 5251).
•  A woman can have 1 husband, but a man can have up to 4 wives; Muhammad can have more.
•  A man can unilaterally divorce his wife but a woman needs her husband's consent to divorce.
•  A man can beat his wife for insubordination.
•  Testimonies of four male witnesses are required to prove rape against a woman.
•  A woman who has been raped cannot testify in court against her rapist(s).
•  A woman's testimony in court, allowed only in property cases, carries half the weight of a man's.
•  A female heir inherits half of what a male heir inherits.
•  A woman cannot drive a car, as it leads to fitnah (upheaval).
•  A woman cannot speak alone to a man who is not her husband or relative.
•  Meat to be eaten must come from animals that have been sacrificed to Allah - i.e., be Halal.
•  Muslims should engage in Taqiyya and lie to non-Muslims to advance Islam.

In general, "Sharia Law" runs contrary to our American Democracy, is disrespectful of holding any religious belief other than Islam, and treats women as second class citizens and/or chattel.  Ben Carson expressing his personal views, even as a Presidential Candidate is his right, and more importantly, even though his comments are considered "Politically Incorrect", he is probably correct in stating a Muslim should not be allowed to serve as President of the United States unless he/she is willing to denounce "Sharia Law.

Have a question for Muslims in closing...why is it that you can insult Christianity, even burn a Bible and that is OK, but you want to kill people if they speak ill of Muhammad/Allah, or burn a Quran in protest.  Seems far more than a double standard if you ask me.
