Stop Making All Cable Subscribers Pay For Latino (Univision) Programming

Cable/Satellite companies routinely make people with special interests pay for special premium packages that give them access to that special programming that has been groomed and fitted to their special tastes.   IE, people in love with watching movies can pay an extra premium too get access to Showtime, HBO and other 24 hour a day movie channels that are not available in a basic cable or satellite package.

The Latino percentage of America's population is about 17 percent of the overall population of America.   So here is my question...why should 83 percent of Americans be forced to subsidize Spanish television programming by having channels such as Univision included in our basic cable packages?  I do not speak Spanish, do not watch the various Spanish speaking channels such as Telemundo and Univision,  do not feel it fair I have to subsidize this specialty item...I am all for this special interest group of viewers being able to have access to the kind of programming they want to watch, but make it a premium package similar to say a sports package, or a movie package, rather than asking 83 percent of television viewers to subsidize Spanish channel access for the Latino community.

A portion of my monthly cable bill does not support Showtime or Cinemax, and I am not asked to pay a portion of my monthly bill to support pay per view boxing, so why am I being forced to subsidize Spanish channels by including them in my monthly programming package?  I occasionally watch a football game, but am not what one would call a rabid fan of the sport, and would be just as upset if I were being forced to subsidize a channel or channels that provided 24/7 football programming for the super fans out there that love that.  

It's time for the cable and satellite companies take all the Spanish channels and bundle them into a special premium package for those wanting Spanish Network programming, and stop subsidizing these networks by including their channels in the basic programming packages their subscribers have to choose from.   If the Univision's of the world cannot make it financially here in America through the subscription rates of those that subscribe to this premium channel, then they should close their doors, rather than forcing all subscribers to support Spanish programming only channels.

Would seem to me there is a Class Action Lawsuit in this somewhere...good question to pose to Trump out on the Campaign Trail....maybe he knows an attorney willing to look at the case.

Jorge Ramos Opens Mouth and ASSHOLE APPEARS

Jorge Ramos, a newscaster for second even third tier network  Univision tried to play the part of social activist at a Trump Rally, and came out of it all looking like a total asshole.  A few suggestions for this misguided and poorly informed reporter.

1.  We can and should build a wall on our Southern Border with Mexico.  

Curious Ramos, can you explain this?

Mexico, which often criticizes the American government for putting up barriers which restrict the flow of illegal immigrants across the U.S. - Mexico border is building a fence of its own along its southern border with Guatemala.

2.  57 percent of ILLEGAL ALIENS unlawfully residing in America are from Mexico.   Another 24 percent of ILLEGAL ALIENS unlawfully residing in America are from other Latin American Countries.  We do not need, nor is it good for America to let these criminal law breakers remain here in the United States, and it is time that we ENFORCE OUR LAWS,  send those here illegally back to their country of origin....the fact that most of them happen to be of Latin heritage has nothing to do with the issue...it is a LAW AND ORDER ISSUE.   Also, it would be inhumane to leave your unattended children here in America with no parents...so, they should go back home with their parents to their country of origin, and can come back to America as citizens when they are adults.

3.  On Anchor Babies...it was not the intent of the 14th Amendment to have people dropping babies on America's borders so that we the American Taxpayers have to pick up the tab, was not the intent of the 14th Amendment to see Mexico and other Latin American countries using America as their welfare system...it needs to end, and it might end in a successful court battle, it might end with a vote in Congress, or it might take an amendment to our Constitution, but it is time to put an end to America being the "Third World's" welfare system, and yes I include Mexico in that list of "Third World" countries.

4.  You stated tonight you are an immigrant....my question to you, are you a LEGAL IMMIGRANT, or did you violate our laws and come here ILLEGALLY.  Learn the difference between welcome and legal immigration, and ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION.

Lastly...LEARN SOME MANNERS and STOP BEING A BUFFOON!   You were not called on, and that was pointed out to you.   Sadly, you were intent on CAUSING A SCENE and in doing so you looked like an asshole.  Donald Trump showed he was the bigger and better man by allowing you back into the News Conference, by actually calling on you.

Donald...do yourself a favor....The Ford Factory story is getting VERY OLD...stop beating a dead horse and find a new example.

Just in on CNN....Cost to Deport 11 Million Illegal Aliens Would be $137 BILLION DOLLARS!

Just in on CNN...according to Jorge Ramos (Mexican American Journalist...no bias there), deporting 11 million illegal aliens would cost the American Government $137 BILLION DOLLARS.  

Let us put that in perspective, show the average American why paying $137 Billion to rid our nation of the 11 million Illegal Alien infestation is money well spent.   Just looking at Mexico...Illegal Aliens living and working in America illegally every year send back to Mexico $137 Billion dollars in the form of remittances (WEALTH LEAVING AMERICA!).

Old adage....you have to spend money to make money.   Deport 11 million illegal aliens at a cost of $137 BILLION DOLLARS would see over a ten year period $1.37 TRILLION DOLLARS OF AMERICAN WEALTH STAYING IN AMERICA.

One more thought....Illegal Aliens in the American work force depreciate American lower and middle class wages $200 BILLION DOLLARS ANNUALLY....deport 11 million illegal aliens from America, and over a ten year period America's lower and middle class would pocket over $2 trillion dollars in higher wages over a ten year period.

Sounds like deporting 11 million illegal aliens makes SOUND FINANCIAL SENSE.
